Today’s artist is American Gail Siptak. I couldn’t resist working from a black and white photo of her as a young woman, I’m guessing in the 1970s. I love her paintings filled with communities of people and animals (and plants) hanging on together when life goes askew. I also enjoy her warm palette and the fantastic textiles hanging on walls and wrapped around shoulders in her paintings.
