Quill App on my iPod Touch.
Freehand from a photo of a Gaugin self-portrait.
15-30 minutes.

I was too tired tonight to trust myself with the exacto knife on the paper piece, so back to digital. But in the usual circular way of the studio, converting the Quill piece to paper, and working with paper, has now influenced the way I’m working with Quill – instead of overlapping transparent colors, discreet, opaque and therefore richer colors.

I guess some artists know what these things will look like before they do them – for me it’s an adventure to see what happens each and every time. A fantastic adventure.
