March-April 2010, I intend to draw a different contemporary artist every day.

Today’s portrait is of the American architect, artist and photographer, Timothy Schorre. His strong eye for composition shows in the design of both his photographs and drawings. His strong hand shows in the confidence of his lines, whether they’re contours, patterns or textures. I love the way he juxtaposes two views or two people and consciously uses the line of the binding between pages.
